We've been hosting Fort Worth's favorite evenings since 2014. If you're looking for a place that feels special without feeling stuffy — where the drinks are genuinely good and the room has a personality — we'd love to have you.
Proper is small by design. Thirty guests fill it perfectly with bar seating and lounge chairs. Pull some furniture and you've got a comfortable standing reception for forty. Open up the patio and the whole thing breathes — up to sixty-five people across an easy indoor-outdoor flow, with room for food, conversation, and whatever the night turns into.
❋ The Space
The decor at Proper is original artwork by Lisa Adams, the co-owner and painter behind everything on our walls. If your event lands during one of our seasonal runs — Christmas, Valentine's Day, Derby Day, New Year's Eve — that atmosphere comes with the space. No extra charge for a room that already looks like somewhere worth being.
❋ The Room ItselfEvery private event gets a dedicated bartender. For larger groups we bring in backup so nobody's waiting. You can do a full bar or keep it focused with a curated selection — we'll help you figure out what makes sense.
And if you want something nobody else has — we'll build you a cocktail. You name it, pick your spirit, tell us where you want to go with the flavor. We'll take it from there and make sure it works with what you're eating and who you're feeding.
